Music Theory - whether we love it or hate it, it's what defines most of how we learn and what we play - but you do know that it's just a bunch of made-up stuff based on a tiny little bit of physics, right?
I started The Mortal Guitarist a while back with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to do with it, and then realised that I was perhaps missing the point a bit. The original idea was to stay away from a "lesson" format because there are literally thousands of hours of content out there covering just about anything that any of us could ever want to learn- but there seem to be a heck of a lot of folks who are posting online with the exact same issues and concerns, over and over again. So - after a bit of a re-think I've decided that I 'm going to do a Re-Boot and try to cover everything that a beginner needs to know to get started, alongside some ideas about what we should and shouldn't care too much about.
